Peter Eben, Seed Advisory
Peter Eben is a director of Seed Advisory and has a broad understanding of the carbon and energy markets through both direct and advisory experience, having worked for AGL, Pulse Energy, United Energy and IKON Energy in wholesale and retail senior management positions as well as at KPMG.
Peter has extensive experience working with retail and wholesale energy companies and has a strong understanding of retail markets, customer churn, customer pricing and wholesale risk management.
Peter has an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and is also a qualified actuary and is the convenor of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia’s Energy & Environment committee. He also has experience working with and for financial services companies and understanding the risk management frameworks and methodologies used by banks and insurance companies.

Patricia Boyce, Seed Advisory
Patricia Boyce is a director of Seed Advisory and has an extensive background in the energy sector. This includes roles in executive management positions in energy retail companies as well as a lead partner in a major international consultancy. Patricia has worked with clients including transmission and distribution companies, upstream and retail companies and with a range of government and regulatory bodies.
Patricia is currently a visiting fellow at Macquarie University’s Centre for Applied Finance, lecturing in an elective “Energy Risk Management” as part of the Master of Applied Finance program.

Luke Berry, Engineroom Infrastructure Consulting
Luke Berry is an infrastructure economist, with a focus on reform and access issues, and energy markets. He provides business analysis for new investment and advises on access regulation, energy market policies, National Gas Laws and National Electricity Laws rule-development, and compliance. He has assisted private and government-owned energy businesses, energy users, regulatory agencies, and government departments.
Dr Norm Broner, Broner Consulting
Dr Norm Broner has over 35 years of consulting experience in acoustics, noise and vibration. He has been heavily involved in the preparation of Environmental Impact Statements and Environmental Management Plans.
One of Norm's areas of expertise is the assessment of environmental noise due to power stations and wind turbine farms. He was the guest editor for a special edition of Acoustics Australia, dealing with the topic of wind farm noise. Norm was a member of the Australian National Health Medical Research Council Wind Farm & Human Health Reference Group, which investigated the impact of wind farms on human health. He was also an International Advisor to the Health Canada Community Noise & Health Study.

William Ehmcke, Connection Research
William Ehmcke has 35 years of business experience in the IT industry and research sector. He has presented widely on business and residential energy efficiencies opportunities, smart metering and the use of in-home displays, and for use of ICT as an enabler for carbon abatement opportunities within business.
William has worked extensively with the energy sector and the construction sector on household energy efficiency programs, undertaken an annual analysis on the superannuation industries investments into sustainability, and designed and implemented energy reduction programs within Australian data centres. William participated in the design of National Australian Built Environment Rating Systems (NABERS) for Data Centres, which was launched in Feb 2013.
William holds a BSc in Mathematics from Adelaide University, South Australia, and an MBA from IMD, University Genève, Switzerland.
